Originally constructed in 1884, the Murphey Building is being transformed into a mixed-use site that brings new housing and commercial activity to the heart of downtown Barnesville, Georgia. The redevelopment will create 11 residential apartments above two commercial spaces, preserving one of the city's historic landmarks while meeting growing demand for quality downtown living and retail. Led by Southern Venture Partners, whose nearby rehabilitation projects have demonstrated strong operating performance, the project builds on the continued momentum of downtown Barnesville's revitalization.
