Originally constructed in the early twentieth century, Hotel Thelma is being restored as part of the continued revitalization of downtown Bluefield, West Virginia. The rehabilitation preserves an important historic building while creating new residential and commercial opportunities that strengthen the city's historic core. Once complete, the project will return a long-underutilized landmark to productive use, supporting economic activity, attracting new investment, and preserving an important piece of Bluefield's architectural heritage through the strategic use of Historic Tax Credit financing.
