1782 Seneca

Buffalo, NY
Mixed-use

Originally constructed in 1922, the historic South Buffalo Presbyterian Church campus is being adapted to meet contemporary community needs while preserving its architectural legacy. The redevelopment will maintain the approximately 10,000-square-foot sanctuary for continued religious and nonprofit use while converting the adjoining retreat center into 15 affordable housing units. Federal and New York State Historic Tax Credit equity, combined with affordable housing financing, make the project financially feasible while preserving an important neighborhood landmark.
