Located in the heart of downtown Abbeville, South Carolina, 111 Court Square is the first phase of a broader effort to revitalize the city's historic commercial district. The redevelopment transformed a long-vacant building into approximately 5,900 square feet of mixed-use space, featuring four residential apartments above two street-level retail suites. High-quality finishes, restored historic details, and flexible commercial spaces are designed to attract new residents and small businesses while preserving the building's historic character. Led by a locally based development team, the project demonstrates how Historic Tax Credit equity can catalyze private investment and help restore economic activity in rural downtown communities.
